Zita Mahmood
Qualified Pre-Accredited Counsellor & Psychotherapist
We are pleased to introduce Zita, a counsellor and psychotherapist who offers warm, thoughtful support to individuals navigating life's pressures and losses. Zita has a particular interest in working with people experiencing grief, those living with or affected by cancer, and clients from minority backgrounds, including Muslims living in the West, where feeling understood without having to over-explain can make all the difference.
Zita believes therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative and human. Her approach is not about fixing you, but about helping you understand yourself more clearly, so that the changes you make feel possible. Sessions are collaborative, shaped around your story and what matters most to you. Your values, faith and cultural background are respected, and you won't need to explain or justify who you are.
Zita is a pre-accredited member of APCP and offers both in-person and online sessions for individuals over the age of 18.
