We are happy to introduce Shane, who specialises in helping adults recover and rebuild after experiences of addiction, spiritual crises, emotional abuse, narcissistic manipulation, and toxic relationships. If you feel lost, disconnected from your inner truth, or struggle to know who you are outside of the identity others imposed, this is the dedicated space for your healing.
His approach is deeply trauma-informed and grounded in compassionate presence. Together, you will work to loosen the grip of internalised shame, self-doubt, and codependency, while focusing on actionable steps such as setting firm boundaries and restoring your self-worth.
Drawing on existential and psychosynthetic perspectives, Shane views therapy as a journey of remembering—a return to your authentic self and inner authority. It is a space not only for healing old wounds but also for moving beyond survival and charting a path toward true meaning and spiritual aliveness.
Whether you are seeking full recovery from a toxic relationship or simply want to deepen your understanding of self, Shane invites you to explore who you are beyond the trauma and move toward an integrated and fulfilling way of being.
To make therapy more accessible, Shane offers evening sessions from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. to ensure support is available when it’s most convenient.

Shane, who is fluent in Portuguese, is a qualified healthcare worker and business administrator with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. He has also completed training in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Reiki, and the facilitation of mindfulness and meditative practices.
We are so grateful to Shane for dedicating part of his professional time to support Midlands Affordable Counselling in providing accessible, low-cost therapy.
