Laura is passionate about providing the highest standard of care to clients facing mental health struggles, as well as to individuals pursuing a path of personal development and growth. Her approach is at all times person-centred and, because of the nature of her training (integrative), she is in a position to offer a style of therapy that can be collaboratively tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. In doing this, her focus is always on creating a compassionate, safe, and non-judgemental environment in which clients can explore past experiences, current challenges and struggles, and goals and aspirations for the future, while also being given practical knowledge and tools to apply in their daily life.

Laura is a qualified and fully accredited counsellor and psychotherapist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in integrative counselling & psychotherapy, with further training in advanced lifestyle medicine for mental health, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness. She is also currently pursuing a master’s degree in psychology.
We are so grateful to Laura for dedicating part of her professional time to support Midlands Affordable Counselling in providing accessible, low-cost therapy.
